My church sponsors a free lunch once a month for the homeless, hungry and lonely in our community. A conversation between one of our guests about reading the Bible brought to mind the question -Do the people coming to the luncheon or just visisting our church have a Bible of their own. We started putting Bibles - on a table in the Fellowship room where the luncheon is held with a sign stating the Bible is free! Every month we have to put more Bibles out because they have all been taken. If your church gas a free Bible program or if you are considering starting one - I recommend this full size Bible to be offered to the people .

great value

Print was smaller than I expected but I guess I didn't read the description good enough.

I am extremely disappointed by this Bible. I am a senior citizen and the print is ridiculously too small to comfortably read, even with reading glasses. I have never seen a publication anywhere else with such minute print. I chose this Bible because one of my Facebook friends posted a quote from Philippians 4:6, 7, and I loved the rendering of the verse. I checked out some other Bible passages and was impressed with how they were rendered, too. However, I CAN'T see the passages to enjoy and benefit from them, nor share them with others in my ministry.! The quality of the paper is well, paper thin. I would not recommend this Bible to any of the 160 members in my congregation.
