The NIV, NKJV, NLT, The Message, (Contemporary Comparative) Parallel Bible, Bonded Leather, Burgundy is providing some of the richest and most beautiful Bible reading times for me. The four Bible translations listed in its title--the New International Version, the New King James Version, the New Living Translation, and The Message--are printed side by side here, all the way from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. This Bible is published in a burgundy bonded leather, with thin pages (as you'd imagine with four translations included here!) edged with gold, plus a burgundy satin bookmark affixed to the center inside of the spine.

If you're like me, you've spent your life engaging with various versions, or translations, of the Holy Bible. As a child, I learned Bible verses in one version, and as a young woman, used two other versions. In recent years, wanting to engage with the Bible I loved in less familiar wording, I've tried several others. That has been fantastic for adding fresh takes to my devotional reading (if it has made it hard to remember particular verses' translations). Most recently, I've been enjoying Eugene Peterson's The Message version, which I've loved for its contemporary language. But sometimes, I want to encounter the verses I'm reading in The Message in a more familiar or traditional form.

The NIV, NKJV, NLT, The Message, (Contemporary Comparative) Parallel Bible, Bonded Leather, Burgundy has provided that for me, and so much more. With the four versions printed next to each other so that the same verses of each translation are alongside one another, I have been able to experience God's Word in a beautiful, incredibly rich new way. I can read a verse, then engage with it more fully because I can see the ways different translators have interpreted the Hebrew and Greek. It has been a marvelous, enriching experience that has helped me to encounter God and His Word afresh.

I recommend this Bible to you wholeheartedly. It can help you meet God in His Word in a wonderful way.

So great to have 4 versions of a verse. I wish the words were in larger type, It is hard to read unless magnified, but still a worthwhile purchase.

It is great for studying the bible and having four different versions to help give you a clearer understanding.

it carries NIV(new international version), the message, NKJV(new king james version),NLT (new living tradition). I found they all represent the word of God without taking anything away from the scripture. Helps me get a better understanding of my studies.
