Wonderful quality, perfect size. Text size is great and this version is wonderful. After researching, this version is much better than its updated counterpart that seems to have succumbed to the woke trends of our current age.

For the price I paid ($63.99) this Bible rocks. Nicest Bible I've ever spent less than $100 for. Its edge lined with a leather liner. Albeit, its not the nicest leather liner (probably fake leather) but its not paste down either so that was a wonderful surprise. B/c its leather lined and the buffalo is so soft it lays flat pretty much out of the box. There is a gilt line but it's below average since you can't really see it when the Bible is open. The pages cover it up. The paper is above average. A little ghosting but its line matched so it no big deal. The ribbons are nice except they just jam them in the Bible without making a loop up top so mine came with creases in them. The creases can be worked out once the ribbons are used correctly for a while. If you know you know. Finally and most surprising is that this Bible has a red under gold art gilt. Its faint but there is no doubt it's there. Overall, its a great vbv personal size Bible.

I purchased the bonded leather indexed version to take with me to Bible study. I appreciate the compact thinline format with a readable font, and the verse-by-verse layout is great for quickly finding passages.

While this Bible serves its purpose, be aware this is a bare-bones Bible with no frills. The ribbons are thin, the bonded leather cover feels like plastic, and the pages have minimal margin space. The red letter text can have a ghosted look due to the thin paper. There are no references and extremely minimal notations. These sacrifices may be necessary to accommodate the thinline format (and low price), but I had hoped it would be a little bit nicer than it is.

Overall I would recommend this Bible for someone looking for an affordable NASB to carry back and forth, or if you want to have an NASB in your collection to refer to now and again, but not for use as a daily reader. I hope this review is helpful!
