Easy read and provides detailed meaning of words/phrases. Strongly recommend for your Bible library

If I had to choose which two books I would want for Bible study, it would be the Holman Study Bible KJV WW721967 and this Amplified Bible WW447002 paperback. It expounds on the verses and is a great aid in studying the KJV. There is a wealth of information in both of these Bibles.

In addition to these I would recommend the following reference books for an excellent basic Bible study library: Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary WW499353, Ultimate Bible Dictionary WW934718, Matthew Henry One Volume Commentary of the Whole Bible WW50470, Pamphlets Feast of the Bible WW947580, and Then and Now Bible Maps WW361301.

I purchased them for my children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and for the youth in our church. It is very important to learn Scripture at a young age. Proverbs 22:6.

This material is good for a lifetime of Bible study. And I am so thankful that "Christianbook" has these and keeps a vast inventory of other Christian literature and accessories.

Of course it's the bible but i was a bit disappointed as the print is quite small and hard to read

Was so excited to get these. I ordered one for my Mom and one for me. Thought they would be great for Bible Study. Arrived quickly but as soon as I opened one up the print was SO small I knew this wasn't going to work. Sent back. Was so disappointed. You need a magnifying glass to read!
